Abstract forms in Architecture

Here are a few examples of my favourite Architectural images – where the pattern, texture or colour of the building or building materials  create an abstract effect  –  overriding the relevance of the original subject itself.

Of course, Modern Architecture lends itself to this type of photography – with all its Hi Tech design & materials – but some very pleasing results can be obtained with older buildings; especially by focusing on the colours & textures of old stone, brick, tiles and timber – work……..

    • Yes – they are all my photos… I am hoping to upload examples of abstracts in Nature and also in Industrial Landscapes. It is very rewarding & I have many categories to display. I could spend all my time developing my blog . I am hoping it will help me to focus on the areas of photography that I am best suited to – although I did get some fantastic straight- forward landscape shots in Dorset…..
